I choose to use zero AI in my writing for the Pragmatic Engineer, and Grammarly is turned off as well. This is because I don’t want my writing skill to degrade, and would like to keep improving. On the other hand, with coding, I do use AI and accept my hand-coding ability will unavoidably degrade.
